Action 1: Update your lightbulbs

People use lightbulbs every day, for all kinds of things.
Did you know that: compact fluorescent light bulbs—those pretty curlicued thingies—use ¼ the energy, last 10 times longer, and produce more light per watt than incandescent bulbs. WOW! If every American household replaced just 1 light bulb with a CFL, it'd be like taking 800,000 cars off the road. And, there's also the little issue of saving boatloads of money on your electric bill too.
So, you can save money AND energy by just changing all your regular, energy inefficient lighbulbs to efficient ones!
I'm sure you have heard this like a million times before, but that is because there is actually a LOT of benefit and truth in it. All these "be green" things, they are to help US, so I just don't get why we wouldn't want to improve OUR OWN living conditions and health on the planet that we live on.
